Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to find a toilet and use this site. The site is built using WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines. We test with automated checks and keyboard navigation.

What we have done

Maps have a list view with links to each toilet. Search, filters and directions can be used with a keyboard. The site supports reduced motion and high contrast settings.

Known limitations

The map canvas may be difficult to use with assistive technology. Use “Show as list” below each map. Listing accuracy depends on the National Public Toilet Map. Check important details with the venue before travelling.

Report a barrier

If something prevents you from using the site, contact us with Accessibility selected. Tell us which page and what happened. We will use your feedback to improve it.

Statement dated 31 October 2026.

Check before you travel

Toilet details come from the National Public Toilet Map, an Australian Government dataset. Features, opening hours and access can change without notice, so a listing may be out of date.

If you need a specific feature, such as a Changing Places hoist or an MLAK lock, check with the venue or council before you go.
